Questions, answered
Is ResumeHQ really free?
Yes. Core analysis, keyword match, bullet rewrites, cover letters, and the job tracker are all free while we're in beta. No credit card required.
Will an ATS actually see the same thing?
We use the same text extraction pipeline most ATS platforms rely on (PDF/DOCX parsing plus keyword tokenization), so what we score is very close to what a recruiter's system sees.
Do you store my resume?
Only if you sign in and choose to save it. Anonymous analyses are processed in-memory and never persisted. You can delete saved resumes at any time from your dashboard.
Which file formats are supported?
PDF, DOCX, and TXT up to 5 MB. For best results, use a text-based PDF (not a scanned image).
How is my data used?
Your resume and job descriptions are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) only to generate your report. We never sell your data or use it to train models.
Can I cancel or delete my account?
Yes. Go to Dashboard → Settings to export or delete everything. One click, no email required.
